The municipality of Puerto Lumbreras hosts throughout the day the endurance test of mountain bike "12 hours Bicilocura", in which more than 300 athletes from different parts of the country compete.
This morning, the mayor of the town, M ª Angeles Tunisia, the councilor for Sports, Juan Rubén Burrueco, and the organizer of the event, Juan Terrones, gave the starting signal to the test with the traditional ribbon cutting.
In this way, the test is held during the whole day from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
In the event runners participate in category U23, Elite, Master 30, Master 40, Master 50 and Master 60 in male, female and mixed category.
Also competing teams of two and four components in male, female and mixed category, with current possession of the RFEC license for 2018.
The route of the test has a distance of 12 kilometers.
The start and finish line is in the Sports Center of Puerto Lumbreras.

The final classification of the lap will be determined based on the number of laps completed per team.
In case of a tie in number of laps, the team that passes through the finish line in first position on the last lap will win.
The times will be taken by the judges and timekeepers of the FMC who, likewise, will make the official classifications of the race.
Finally, it should be noted that today is also scheduled for the fourth test of the "Kids series FCRM" circuit, starting at 3:00 p.m.
The participating categories will be promises, beginners, fry, children and cadets.
