With these two new additions, the fleet of the Local Police of Puerto Lumbreras adds a total of 9 vehicles.
The Local Police of Puerto Lumbreras has two new vehicles that will improve and expedite the movement of the agents.
This morning the delivery was made, which was attended by the mayor of the town, M ª Angeles Túnez, the general director of Citizen Security and Emergencies, José Ramón Carrasco de la Sierra, the head of the Local Police, Gabriel Abellán, and the Councilor for Citizen Security, Dolores Arenas.
The mayor of the town, Mª Ángeles Túnez, stressed that "with this endowment the benefits of the Local Police are improved, which will make it possible to offer a better citizen security service".
Specifically, these are two vehicles type minivan Ford Focus C-Max, for security agents have implemented a complete kit of detainees with protective screens.
Also, they have a police light bridge with led technology, siren with amplifier, police flashlights, fire extinguisher, remote control loudspeaker and 100w speaker.
The vehicles are fully labeled and have a power of 115 hp, with an approved consumption of 5 liters per 100 kilometers.
With these two new additions, the fleet of the Local Police of Puerto Lumbreras adds a total of 9 vehicles, among them there are four motorcycles, a tourism, two vehicles type minivan, an SUV and a van.
"From the City Council we work with the objective of continuously increasing police effectiveness, with these two new vehicles the response time of the Police will be improved in the event of emergencies and traffic accidents", explained Mª Ángeles Túnez.
