The Royal and Illustrious Brotherhood of the Most Holy Christ of the Faith and Mary Most Holy of Mercy has recovered this year one of the traditions that were carried out years ago in Puerto Lumbreras, the Way of the Cross on the last Friday of Lent.
Numerous citizens accompanied in the night of yesterday the old image of the Holy Christ of the Faith, in a route that evoked the Passion of Christ towards the Mount of Calvary.
During the tour of the main streets of the historic center of the municipality, the image of the Christ was also accompanied by the rhythm of the drums that made the touch of mockery.
The procession was guided by a pair of tenebrary lanterns that read the stations of the Way of the Cross under its light.
