The municipality of Puerto Lumbreras celebrated last night the solemn and emotional procession of the Silence, in which the image of the Most Holy Christ of the Faith and that of the Most Holy Mary of Mercy, the latter on the shoulders of 40 costaleras, paraded.
In this way, hundreds of Lumbrerenses took to the streets to accompany the images on their journey through the main streets of the town to finish at the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary.
In addition, this year, as a novelty, in the procession came the new image of the Royal and Illustrious Brotherhood of the Most Holy Christ of the Faith, the Christ of Mercy, made in polychrome pottery by the Jiménez Díaz art workshop in Seville.
In the procession, the sound of the cornets and the drums was not lacking, in charge of the musical group of the Brotherhood of the Christ of the Faith. Finally, it should be noted that the titular image of the Brotherhood was escorted by the aviation paratroopers of the Sewer air base.
