The Parroquia Nuestra Señora del Rosario has organized another year the traditional Via Crucis Penitencial through the streets of the historic center of the municipality.
This year, as a novelty, the route has been marked by pieces of tile that marked the 15 stations of this penitential act, each of which is set in a step or episode of the Lord's Passion, and the last one is dedicated to the resurrection of Christ.
It should be noted that the pieces of the Via Crucis have been created by Martín Lario.
Hundreds of Lumbrerenses have accompanied the images of Our Father Jesus Nazareno and the old image of the Holy Christ of the Faith, in a route that evokes the Passion of Christ towards the Mount of Calvary.
The itinerary of the procession crossed San Francisco Street, Juan Carillo, Sierpe, Star, La Paz, Barranco, Francisco Tirado, Juan García Mellado and finished in the Parochial Church.
