The Nogalte Athletics Club- Home Puerto Lumbreras, in collaboration with the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras and the Mountain Federation of the Region of Murcia, organizes this weekend the 4th edition of the mountain race "Nogalte Trail Extrem".
The test will be held this Sunday, April 8, starting at 09:00.
The start and the finish line will be located in the Cabezo de la Jara Youth Hostel in Puerto Lumbreras.
The route, marked with a beacon of striking colors, will be on a mixed terrain circuit, predominating the tracks and paths with four refreshment points for the long race and two for the short race.
The test has two competition distances, one of 24,250 km with departure at 09:00 and another of 13,200 km with departure at 09:30.
In addition, there will be a non-competitive hiking route with a distance of 13 kilometers, which will start at 10:00 am.
It should be noted that this competition is included in the spring sub-league of the Official Mountain Racing Calendar, so the scores and regulations concerning this Mountain Racing League organized by the Mountaineering Federation of the Region of Murcia will be applied. .
All registrations can be made through the web www.asuspuestos.com until Wednesday April 4 at 23: 59h.
Only the federated runners may register on the day of the race in the stand of delivery of numbers until 08.00 hours.
As for the prizes, a trophy will be awarded to the top three finishers of the male and female general, as well as to the first three of each category established in male and female.
In addition, all participants will be presented with a broker's purse.
The Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports, Juan Rubén Burrueco, has encouraged citizens to attend this sporting event and stressed that "the attendees, both participants and spectators, will enjoy a high-level sports event, at the same time contemplate the magnificent views of the natural environment of Cabezo de la Jara, considered as a Site of Community Interest (SCI) ".
