The MTB Club Cabezo de la Jara of Puerto Lumbreras, in collaboration with the Department of Sports of the City of Puerto Lumbreras, has held the tenth edition of the MTB Routes of Puerto Lumbreras in which more than 200 runners from different points have participated of the region and bordering areas.
The test took place yesterday with departure and arrival at the Municipal Sports Center of the town, starting at 09.00 on a single long route of approximately 49 kilometers away.
The route, correctly signposted and with different control points of passage, had a duration of four hours, being declassified all those runners whose marks exceeded that time.
The runner Lumbrerense Mabel Gallardo won the MTB March in the women's category, while Ismael Sánchez did it in the men's category.
Highlight with special attention the work carried out by the referees of the technical committee of referees of the Spanish Cycling Federation, without whose presence the test could not have been carried out, as well as from Civil Protection of Puerto Lumbreras and volunteers in a day in which, fortunately, has gone by without incident.
