The Department of Culture of the City of Puerto Lumbreras has opened the doors of the Cultural Center Casa de los Duendes to receive the well-known writer Magdalena Sánchez Blesa.
A meeting that has occurred on the occasion of the extensive programming of activities carried out from the Library Network of the municipality to celebrate the Month of the Book and that has had as objective the meeting with the Adult Reading Club to comment on the book of the month of April , "Nana to sleep my grandparents", of which she is the author.
The writer has recognized regional prestige due to her literary career with the publication of different books, as well as her production in the movie "The Adventures of Moriana".
Born in Puerto Lumbreras, at the young age of twelve, she moved to the city of Alhama de Murcia.
Very young she began to write to console the loss of her father, considering herself to be a childhood poet, although with a special weakness for the elderly.
This is precisely the main feature of his third publication that has come to share, "Nana to sleep my grandparents", where he unites both sides.
A work already consolidated after other publications that preceded him as "Things of a girl" and "Me against me" that at the moment is being promoted by different points of the Spanish geography.
In his speech, the Councilor for Culture, María Victoria Jerez, wanted to highlight the intimate and personal nature of the work of this author who, he says, "is a very special person that we are getting used to having between the circles lumbrerenses to celebrate truly beautiful, constructive and emotional encounters ".
