Among the award-winning texts are works inspired by the world of fantasy, stories about the evocative power of music, declarations of love for family or nature.
One more year, the Rambla de Nogalte Institute, in collaboration with the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras and the public schools of the town, has organized a new edition of the Literary Contest "Memorial Juan Pérez", coinciding with the celebration of the Month of the Book.
Specifically, more than 200 students, between 10 and 18 years old, from all public schools have participated in this literary contest that was held yesterday afternoon in the auditorium of the Cultural Center.
The Councilor for Culture, Mª Victoria Jerez, stressed that "this event is a display of talent, ingenuity and creativity of young people from Lumbrere, reflecting their interests and concerns with very different topics."
Thus, among the award-winning texts are works inspired by the world of fantasy, stories about the evocative power of music, declarations of love for family or nature, heartbreaking verses sponsored by the latest feminist trends or stories full of humor and irony.
