The hamlet of Gonare lumbrerense celebrated during this weekend its festivities in honor of the Virgen del Carmen.
One of the highlights of these festivals are religious events in honor of the patron, as the traditional procession that was held on August 1 as the start of the Festival, and attended by over 200 people.
This Friday August 13th celebrations continue with a concert starting at 23.30 hours on the sports center of the hamlet, on Saturday, August 14, activities continue at 17.00 with Water Castle, Playground, Verbena, Queen's Choice Kids and Ladies of Honor, as well as the traditional tasting crumbs.
On the other hand, on Sunday 15 August will begin the day at 5:00 p.m. with Rociera Mass in honor of the Virgen del Carmen and a parade.
In addition the night will continue with a festival with music by the Orchestra '12 o'clock' and the awards ceremony for all competitions.
The festivities end on Sunday at 24.00 hours with the traditional fireworks.
The peculiarity of these festivals is that they are in honor of the Virgen del Carmen, but are delayed until 14 and August 15 because in the past on July 16, families would harvest and could not be at parties.
