The Government of Spain is investing more than 6.7 million in the last three years in Puerto Lumbreras
The Delegation of the Government in the Region of Murcia has informed this morning that all the actions that are taking place in the Castle of Puerto Lumbreras in the Promotion Plan of the Tourism Product "Medina Nogalte" feature of government funding Spain for an amount of 1.1 million euros.
The delegate of the Government regrets the appropriation made by the Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras in these proceedings and did not clearly explain that any investment in Castle Nogalte are being funded equally by the Government of Spain, the Autonomous Community Medina Nogalte Consortium and will involve a total investment of 3.3 million euros for boosting tourism in this county.
Tovar González noted that "it is true that the City initiate these works individually and as part of activities we fund among the three administrations."

Finally, the delegate also criticized the victimhood that is made from some leaders of the Popular Party, while hiding the investments of the Government of Spain in Murcia.
In this regard, he recalled that the Government of President Zapatero in Puerto Lumbreras is investing more than 6.7 million in the last three years through the Ministry of Land Policy, the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade in several performances of Plan E, the arrangements of the Civil Guard headquarters or the new post office, in addition to the above actions within the Plan to Promote Tourism Product.
