The Consistory approved by the Governing Board a new cooperation agreement with UCE Murcia to boost citizens' information services through the Consumer Information Bureau.
During the new school year will be given educational programs aimed at school children on responsible consumption.

The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras approved by the Governing Board a new cooperation agreement with the Union of Consumers of Spain in Murcia for developing consumer protection policies in place and continue to provide information and advice services through the Information Office Consumer Puerto Lumbreras.
According to the Mayor, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, "The aim of the agreement with UCE Murcia is to promote the interests of consumers and ensure a high level of protection."
Thus, the municipality "will launch a campaign that includes information, courses and seminars to disseminate the rights of consumers," added Sanchez.
Also, the formalization of the collaboration agreement between the City and Murcia UCE will be launched training programs on responsible consumption aimed at different groups.
In this regard special emphasis will be in schools where they will train more than 2,000 schools.
In addition, information campaigns will be held at special times of great Christmas sales or consumption as well as the celebration of World Consumer Day.
Finally, through this cooperation agreement establishing the management of a public information service and consumer complaints and claims management through the Municipal Office of Consumer Information to open its doors to users Monday through Friday from 10:00 to 14:00.
