The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, along with Councillor for Rural Development, José María Parra, visited this morning the start of construction of the new Police Service Center Esparragal that increase the media for security citizens in the hamlet of La Station-Esparragal.
"Puerto Lumbreras For increased security has become a priority for which we develop new infrastructure and increasing the staffing of local police with more police officers. The new Police Service Center will enhance security in the municipality, and will increase the presence and coordination of the Local Police Force in the districts lumbrerenses "explained Sanchez.
Thus, the new units are being built on a municipally owned parcel located in the urban core of the hamlet, on the Carretera de El Esparragal along the road to the intersection of Valencia.
The works, whose execution time is 12 months, have a budget of 759,224 euros, of which the Autonomous Region € 650,000 subsidized through the Presidential and Public Administration.
Also, the building of the new Police Service Center will cover an area of 920 square meters, one high and one intermediate court.
The interior is divided into four zones, one for customer service, a wing of offices, dressing rooms and another parking area.
