The Mayor, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, has delivered the medal to Ramón García Molina, awarded through the regulation of honors and awards from the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras to recognize the effort and work for the town.

The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras was held this morning an official ceremony on the occasion of the award of two local police officers more than 25 years of dedication and work in the field of public safety in the locality.
The Mayor, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, has delivered the medal to the officer Ramon Garcia Molina, who has also been honored with the Local Police in Puerto Lumbreras, José Giménez, who will receive his medal.
According to Sanchez, "the consistory lumbrerense recognizes the work of both officers for their work and dedication in the field of local public safety for over 25 years."
In addition, explained that this recognition is through the "rules of honors and awards the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras to all citizens who in one way or another, through work, contribute to the welfare and development of the locality."
The award ceremony has been attended by more than a hundred family, friends, coworkers and friends of the local police.
The event concluded with the presentation of the medal and diploma that recognizes the work of local staff.
Sunday morning, local police held the day of their patron saints San Miguel Archangel, San Gabriel and San Rafael, with a Mass to be held in the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary beginning at 24:00.
