Puerto Lumbreras has opened its second Fair Trade Outlet 'The Cost', held from today until next Sunday in the town.
The councilman of Commerce, David Ginés Piñero accompanied by President of the Confederation of Employers of Puerto Lumbreras, Francisco Sosa, and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras, inaugurated the second edition of the Outlet in which " increase in the number of participating merchants compared to last year. "
Thus, Piñero stated that "In this second edition of the Fair Trade Outlet increase the number of participating companies and the sectors in which they work to offer consumers a wider choice of products."
The Second Edition of the Fair Trade Outlet develops in the central Avenida Pedro García Rubio, and with the participation of about thirty local businesses in various sectors such as textiles, accessories, footwear, furniture or decoration.
Also this year, involving companies from other sectors such as food or flowers.
Specifically, the Fair was developed in collaboration with Asplu, City Hall, Ministry of Universities, Business and Research, and the Chamber of Commerce of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras.
Thus arises the dual objective, "provide consumers with low-cost, high quality, and secondly to promote and boost local trade in Puerto Lumbreras," says Piñero.
For his part, President of ASEPLU, Francisco Sosa, stressed that the Fair Outlet offer consumers low-cost products and serve as a meeting point for retailers lumbrerenses.
In addition, Sosa explained that "the initiative will also serve to dispose of stocks of participating dealers who are subject to continuous changes in fashions and trends."
Fair Trade Outlet in Puerto Lumbreras will remain open throughout the weekend open continuously from 10.00 to 21.00.
