The municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, through the council's Equal Opportunities, in collaboration with the Association of Women 'Peñas Blancas', has launched an embroidery workshop in order to "promote the traditional sewing techniques women of all ages, "says Councillor for Equal Opportunities, Lina Gázquez.
The program, which started this week, will take place during a quarter in the facilities for training courses to the Department of Women.
In addition, the program runs weekly for each Tuesday and Thursday from 16.30h 18.30hy are already more than two dozen women who were enrolled in this new initiative launched by the council.
