The town of Puerto Lumbreras this weekend hosted the conference 'Equality.
"Real?"
organized by the Popular Party in the town.
About one hundred women gathered at the round table where they discussed various issues related to women's equality, to coincide with International Day Against Violence Against Women held on 25 November.
During the day, which was also attended by Mayor and Deputy Secretary of Organization and Institutional Relations of the PP in the Region of Murcia, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, addressed various aspects related to women, such as equality policies at local and regional the evolution of women in their integration into the working world and equality policies to prevent gender violence.
For this, the event featured a panel discussion attended by the deputy secretary of the Popular Party Electoral Region of Murcia, Teresa Moreno, the Councillor for Equal Opportunities in the municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, Lina Gázquez, and teacher University of Murcia, María José Sánchez.
Thus, the 100 women who gathered lumbrerenses in the day, took the opportunity to show their concerns and their views on the various equality policies which promoted the Popular Party in the town in recent years.
