To celebrate Constitution Day on 6 December, the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has organized plenary Children who participated in the sixth grade students from four schools in the municipality. The mayor, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, has chaired the plenary sessions in which students have submitted several motions and proposals.
According to Sanchez, "The aim of the plenary sessions is to familiarize children and bringing children to the local administration. It is also an opportunity to hear the requests of the children of the municipality and the needs they consider appropriate."
Specifically, students are grouped by color-divided local groups, and through a spokesman issued a series of proposals to the government team that have been subsequently put to a vote.
At the end of the full child, has taken a turn for questions and answers in which the local mayor, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, has resolved all doubts raised by the school.
In addition, this year has also filed a motion to support the declaration of Human Rights was adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations on November 20, 1959.
The plenary session had the participation of about 200 students from schools Alcaraz Juan Antonio López, Asunción Jordan Immaculate Conception and Sacred Heart.
Students have also visited various facilities and departments that make up the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras.
