The Mayor, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and the Director General of Irrigation and Rural Development, Julio Antonio Bernal, inaugurated the new infrastructure of the town.
The facility is also home to agricultural and livestock associations to promote rural development in the locality.
The new public facility with an investment of over € 1,100,000, and facilities of 2,300 square meters.
The hamlet lumbrerense Season-Esparragal has a new Rural Multipurpose Center with more than 2,000 square meters for the development of cultural, educational, and agricultural and livestock.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, Director General of Irrigation together and Rural Development, Julio Antonio Bernal, opened the new Centre which is developing various activities for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.
The new Multipurpose Center has facilities over 2,300 square meters hosting a pavilion with four training rooms, multipurpose rooms and a grandstand for 600 people will receive different kinds of great activities in the municipality.
Specifically, new infrastructure, which has invested more than EUR 1,100,000, will serve as a multifunctional space to accommodate development of educational practices and advocacy for rural development, with the location of the local agricultural and livestock associations, which provide advice and will implement training programs to professionals in this sector.
Thus, new facilities are located next to the Public School Immaculate Conception-Esparragal Station, the hamlet's most populous county with more than 3,000.
Its facilities, but will have separate fenced, will be connected with the school so that students can make use of the spaces reserved for recreational and educational activities such as new technologies and training courses.
In this regard, Sanchez explained that "the new Multipurpose Center is strategically communicated with the Public School Immaculate Conception so that students can use these new and improved infrastructure."
Thus, "the new equipment will meet the needs of all citizens in most districts of the municipality in various fields."
With this performance, reinforcing the infrastructure and services in the district-Esparragal Station, which recently has expanded the social center, and where also soon will open a new Early Childhood Center, and a new Police Service Center.
