The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and the Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana, inaugurated this morning the new public facility that is located in the largest district of the town.
Learning a second language, the use of new technologies and applying new educational techniques are the cornerstones on which the educational project has made adhering to the new Child Care Centres in the locality.

The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and the Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana, inaugurated this morning the new Child Care Centre (CAI) in the hamlet lumbrerense-Esparragal Station.
The new facility, which has invested 459,840 euros, offers 82 new public spaces for children four to 36 months.
So, Mayor explained that the center offers "a variety of services hitherto unavailable in the hamlet as a dining room, classrooms for new technologies for children, and even library service for parents and professional advice to support the education of their children" .
Regarding infrastructure, the Centre has been built on a plot of 1,080 m2 and has six classrooms, playgrounds outdoor amphitheater for children's activities, dining and sleeping, among other agencies.
Thus, currently enrolled and 33 children who benefit from the services of new public facilities.
In addition, the new CAI also offers concierge services, with hours from 07:30 to 20:30, which incorporates collection service under the school to accommodate the schedules of the parents of the parish, thus facilitating the reconciliation of work and family life.
To date, in Puerto Lumbreras the Ministry of Social Policy has invested 1,536,035 euros for child care, which involves the creation of more than 300 subsidized spaces at three sites in the locality, of which 107 are in progress.
PequeCultura, quality education
To manage three new Children's Learning Center, the municipality and the Community have launched the new project 'PequeCultura' with new services being promoted on children's education through a comprehensive educational program for children from 0 years.

Also incorporated various educational activities such as the introduction of English as a second language, or start a school of parents with training and collaboration with families, as "providing a quality educational program from early years determines the progress, development and welfare of the smallest, "says Sanchez.
On the other hand, in the field of services, the municipality has launched a toy library and library services for parents with specific material to promote the education of children.
In addition, the centers develop training workshops for families through the 'School for Parents' which is given a specific program to engage in the educational process of their children and help in resolving conflicts.
Finally, PequeCultura places special emphasis on new technologies and recent advances in the education system, equipping schools with computer equipment, touch screens and whiteboards.
Similarly, early childhood education centers offering free dining menus designed by nutritionists, outdoor areas for play and exercise, and various classrooms for the rest of the children.
