The merchants of Puerto Lumbreras 10,000 ballots have been distributed among its clients for the drawing of a magnificent Christmas baskets as part of the campaign to promote local retail in the Christmas period.

The session lumbrerense, through the Department of Tourism, Industry and Environment, in collaboration with the Confederation of Employers of the municipality, has launched various initiatives framed within the 'Christmas campaign for the Promotion of Trade', with which aims to boost the business of town during the Christmas period.
The "Christmas Campaign," includes among other actions, the traditional window dressing competition among local businesses, the traditional Christmas market and Christmas basket raffle.
Specifically, the draw has been made on the central calle Doctor Barraquer, was attended by the Councillor for Tourism, Industry and Environment, Ginés David Piñero, the Councillor for Education, Culture and Celebrations, Isabel García and representatives of ASEPLU.
According Piñero, "the campaign offers a number of actions aimed at promoting business, providing consumers with economic alternatives and promotions to make their Christmas shopping in the town."
