The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Education and Culture, has launched the fifth consecutive year the contest traditional and illustrated stories.
On this occasion, under the slogan "Once Upon a Christmas', the contest has brought together over thirty participants in the town who have written and illustrated their stories based on Christmas themes.
Two special prizes were awarded for 'Best Illustrated Story' which went to Andrea and Raquel Veronica Cayuela Andreu.
All stories remain exposed participants between 28 and Jan. 7 at the Municipal Library of the site at the Library Station, Esparragal.
The best stories have been rewarded with school supplies have been delivered to the Councillor for Education and Culture, Isabel Garcia, a student authors of the stories.
