The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and the Director General of Tourism, Marina García Vidal, presided this evening the presentation of the Revitalisation Plan actions Medina Nogalte Tourism Product to more than 100 representatives of tourism sector in the municipality and Guadalentín the region.
This meeting served to gather ideas in the tourism sector to promote new initiatives and to coordinate efforts at regional level to boost the tourism sector.
Furthermore, the presentation was made to coincide with the final tourism project 'Medina Nogalte' of Puerto Lumbreras in which "invest 3.3 million euros for the enhancement and creation of new tourist products in the locality" .
Among the more than 100 attendees to the conference, highlighted the tourism entrepreneurs of Puerto Lumbreras and Guadalentín County, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras, ASEPLU, Ceclor, and hotel and leisure companies and free time.

The Tourism Promotion Plan Nogalte Medina is developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Region of Murcia, the Regional Employers' Federation of Hotel de Murcia (Hostemur) and Medina Nogalte Tourist Consortium.
