The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and the President of the San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia, José Luis Mendoza, have signed a collaboration agreement to promote the specialization of university students through internships in local government.
University students of all degrees of UCAM will work placement in the various departments of the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, as well as services provided by public facilities in the locality.

Thus, the City and the Catholic University of Murcia Murcia new projects promote educational cooperation through which college students can develop UCAM labor practices in the various departments of the consistory lumbrerense, as well as various equipment and public services provided locally.
They may also work placement students who complete any degree at the UCAM, which currently offer more than two dozen university degrees such as Business Administration, Law, Architecture and Tourism, among others.
The only requirement for students to access the educational cooperation program is that they have exceeded 50% of the credits of your degree, and the maximum duration of the internship is 750 hours.
In addition, practices will be monitored and tutored both the Vocational Guidance Service of the University, and by the personnel department of the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras.
