The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras will implement a Plan of Action to help control and water savings through concrete measures in the supply network of the town.
Specifically, the session lumbrerense invest over EUR 70,000 on concrete actions which "help save water and control through new mechanisms to settle in the supply networks of the municipality," said the Mayor, Pedro Antonio Sánchez.
Thus, the municipality will install 14 data loggers with transmission of information through mobile messaging.
So, registrars favor the flow and pressure control in real time, and will avoid future breakdowns or failures to report on existing water supply network in the municipality.
On the other hand, it is planned to stabilize the high pressures that are undergoing some sectors of the supply network.
For this, the Mayor, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, explained that "it will install a pressure reducing valve to improve the water supply throughout the town."
Finally, the new Action Plan also provides for the segmentation of the water distribution network throughout the municipality.
This will carry out the installation of 30 valves sanitation in order to hydraulically isolate different network sectors, allowing detailed study of each of them facilitating the work in case of failure, and preventing discomfort and cuts water to citizens when there are problems targeted.
In conclusion, the Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, explained that it is "specific measures that aim to benefit all lumbrerenses through an optimum supply of water, favoring to save water in our town" .
