Fifteen students have trained for 100 hours during the months of February and March, to increase social skills through various theoretical and practical exercises.
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, through Social Services, in collaboration with the Instituto Murciano Social Action, launched in February and March, the program "Basic Training for the social integration of people facing exclusion."
This morning, the Councillor for Employment and Social Policy, M ª Angeles Tunisia, has closed this new training program in which they have worked the social skills of the 15 participating students with an education that promotes stability and promoting students' personal .
According to the Councillor for Employment and Social Policy, M ª Angeles Tunisia, "with this new training program designed to give students basic personal resources to improve their behavior, and enhance their confidence and motivation, to facilitate their employment."
Specifically, the training program has consisted of 100 hours that were distributed during the months of February and March.
The course also offers educational support to people with poor social skills and low educational levels, to improve their oral and written expression, reading compression, while acquiring basic skills in various lessons.
In this sense, the Councillor for Social Policy and Employment, M ª Angeles Tunisia, explained that "the program has received theoretical lectures, but also incorporated practical strategies that foster stability and promote students' personal."
The methodology of this project is purely participatory, and the program has been made by a qualified psychologist and a counselor, both from the Association for Development and Social Promotion.
