IU-Greens Puerto Lumbreras requests the Executive Team, municipal chief of the interests of farmers in Puerto Lumbreras, and ultimately the residents of our people, financial and economic support needed for the Community of Irrigators Puerto Lumbreras to take all actions and initiatives needed to improve the availability of water in our town.
For Victor Romero, Councilmember of IU in Puerto Lumbreras "Our town depends on water for development especially in regard to the primary sector, both agricultural and livestock, increased importance if possible by the current crisis and stagnation in other sectors living productive, as can be the construction, services or industry. "
In this regard, "it is important to highlight the work being developed by the Community of Irrigators of Puerto Lumbreras, in order to ensure better water resources which have the farmers in our county, despite the current economic situation causes a lack of funding and participation of the different administrations when it comes to support certain projects. "
It is possible that we are currently at a historic moment and probably will not happen again, in order to get water and bring to Puerto Lumbreras, who can look to the future with a different perspective, but this will require the cooperation of all administrations, including the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras.
