The Chorus and Dance Group Virgen del Rosario de Puerto Lumbreras gave a lecture demonstration of local folklore in the cave houses of the town, attended by 100 people cadi.
This activity is part of the new programming Nogalte Castle and Cave Houses in Puerto Lumbreras that develops during the months of April and May.

Puerto Lumbreras offers tourists a new cultural tourist route up the cave houses themed and Nogalte Castle and its surroundings, the Old Town area.
With over 30 different activities that take place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for the months of April and May, the Hall has launched a tourist-cultural itinerary that visitors are aware of an Islamic fortress, the caves used as dwellings for centuries, the importance of water and handicrafts for the local economy.
One of the flagship of the last days, has been the talk show local folklore group Hand Songs and Dances of Puerto Lumbreras 'Virgen del Rosario'.
Councillor for Education, Culture and Celebrations, Isabel Garcia, accompanied by Rosa Guirao, both members of the Group 'Virgen del Rosario', offered the audience a lecture on the history of local folklore, ending with a practical part where they danced Jacks , carousing and Malaga and in which several people encouraged to join the public.
Specifically the conference was held in the House of the Craftsman Workshop, composed of four caves that host musealization trades related to the activity of the different entities of the Association of Artisans of Puerto Lumbreras, exhibition of handicrafts and retail visitor.
On the other hand, the scheduling of activities in the new cultural and tourist resort of Puerto Lumbreras, continues this weekend with tours, open houses, medieval market, craft exhibitions, music Al Andalus' border medieval festival 'and children's workshops among other activities.
