Pedro Antonio Sánchez has held a meeting with more than a dozen local artisans to design plans lumbrerense promotion of handicrafts through new tourist areas offering the municipality.
The meeting took place in the House of the Craftsman Workshop, which was established as the beginning of the cultural tourist route and designed through the theming of Cave Houses in Castle Nogalte environment.

The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, held this morning a day of work with more than a dozen artisans lumbrerenses to analyze the activity of this sector and devise new plans for the promotion of handicrafts through tourism.
This meeting took place in the new House Artisan Workshop Puerto Lumbreras is established as the beginning of the cultural tourist route and offers the city through the themes of the cave houses.
In this regard, Sanchez explained that "what we want with the day's work is to plan activities and initiatives designed to promote local crafts through tourist areas offering the locality."
Thus, Sanchez explained that "already more than 1,000 citizens and tourists who have visited the vicinity of Castle Cave Houses Nogalte and during Holy Week, what we want now is to plan new activities and initiatives which lumbrerense crafts promote them. "
Craftsman House Workshop
The working meeting was held in the House Artisan Workshop Puerto Lumbreras.
Four cave dwellings make up this space for musealization trades related to the activity of the different entities of the Association of Artisans of Puerto Lumbreras, exhibition of handicrafts and the sale to visitors.
Thus, craftspeople lumbrerenses cooperate with the City to develop promotion, dissemination of techniques and work processes as well as organizing exhibitions and craft demonstrations.
