The event is part of Project mappers (Murcia Activa Rural Employment), a pioneering project in the Region of Murcia "to promote the employment of groups with greater difficulties in finding employment."
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has organized this morning, a seminar on Corporate Social Responsibility Project which forms part of Murcia Rural Employment Activa (mappers) in Puerto Lumbreras participating with other municipalities in the region as a cassock and Cieza.
Thus, the conference has been attended by the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, Cieza Mayor Antonio Tamayo, and the Director General of the Regional Employment Service and Training , Ginés Martínez.
Specifically, the workshop would have exposed the actions fostered by the three municipalities through Project Activa Murcia Rural Employment (mappers), concerning the implementation of measures to promote Corporate Social Responsibility.
These measures have highlighted actions related to environmental compliance in business and management, job placement plans that favor disadvantaged, or plans to reconcile work and family life.
During his speech, the Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez pointed out that the "mappers program has received an investment of 630,000 € and has treated more than 150 people in Puerto Lumbreras, with the aim of favoring the creation of employment in the locality. "
Sanchez also noted "the importance of this project to create a new corporate culture with new socially responsible actions and plans that favor employees, as employers, like the rest of society."
Thus, the seminar has been attended by more than a hundred people across the region of Murcia, among whom were technicians from various public, social partners and employers.
Maper Project is a program funded by the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment and the European Social Fund which aims to promote social and professional integration of groups with integration difficulties (women, long-term unemployed, disabled, or young under 30 years), mainly through training and advice, and promote the implementation of social accountability measures in the municipalities members of the Project.
