The Pilates Workshop is part of women's 'Healthy Habits' which includes fifty training initiatives, educational and leisure activities that are developed at the Center for Women in Puerto Lumbreras.

The municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, through the council's Equal Opportunities has launched a Pilates workshop for women, who can attend every Tuesday and Thursday from 09.20 to 10.20 h, with the aim of bringing mind and body, helping to combat stress.
Also, the initiative is part of the more than 50 activities that includes the Healthy Habits program developed in the new facilities of the Center for Women in Puerto Lumbreras.
Thus, women in Puerto Lumbreras can through this varied program learn batuka, belly dance, flamenco dancers, clothing, furniture restoration, painting, and participate in lectures, discussions, and conferences on topical subjects among many other initiatives.
Specifically, the workshop is taught by Francisco Pérez López, Professor of Physical Education and an expert in Pilates is an exercise technique controlled and assisted in a personalized manner, combining mind and body training to achieve the conscious control of movement body and correct postural alignment.
