Spain, Belgium and Germany have participated in the project "Leonardo Da Vinci 'through Planets Association that encourages the exchange of information and education of the Local Development Managers and Technical Job placement at European level.

The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Local Development Centre, has participated in the European Lifelong Learning Programme Leonardo Da Vinci to promote and encourage the exchange of experiences in the field of Local Development Agencies.
Thus, the municipality has participated in the final project in the city of Liege in Belgium, together with other members of the 'Association Planets' as the Belgian association of training and employment 'Le Forem' and the German 'Grumel'.
Specifically, the Association PLANETS, consists of Local Development Agencies in Spain, Belgium and Germany, and promoted through the Da Vinci European Programme, a common space in education and training, promoting exchanges, cooperation and mobility between education and training systems within the European Community.
Thus, the municipality of Puerto Lumbreras has participated in the closing days of a Paper on "Effective Communication" developed by the Technical Centre for Local Development to an international audience, taking stock of actions carried out in the town and initiatives undertaken in the field of occupational and adult education.
In addition, during the working sessions, which discussed several issues such as training activities offered through the Local Development Centre of Puerto Lumbreras, the connection between businesses and training programs, work practices of students and their social needs.
Finally, note that the town of Puerto Lumbreras, has been called for new European programs of this nature, in order to further enhance exchanges, cooperation and mobility between education and training systems within the European Community.
