Over 500 youth and children of Puerto Lumbreras have attended this year's courses and water activities conducted by personnel in the Municipal Heated.
The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Youth and Sports has organized the 'V Infant Swimming Trophy 2011' with which closes the season of sports in Heated Municipal Sports Center.
Furthermore, this competition is shaping up as a day of coexistence among participants, relatives and monitors.
Specifically, over 500 youth and children of Puerto Lumbreras have attended this year's courses and water activities conducted by personnel in the Municipal Heated pool, swimming as consolidating an emerging sport in the town.
Thus, over a hundred children and youth of the town gathered on Saturday to compete in different categories such as male and young female child with participants from 3 to 14 years and teenage male and female adolescents with participants 15 to 17 years.
On the other hand, the Council has offered Heated throughout the 2010-2011 season more than twenty courses and water activities among which stand out, swimming for the elderly, aquasalud, therapeutic swimming, water aerobics, swimming for people with disabilities aquatic fitness among others, offering a wide range of activities for all groups and ages, covering in total more than 1200 users in this season.
