The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Environment has organized various activities on the occasion of Environment Week.
This morning, the council of Tourism, Ginés David Piñero, and street cleaning, Eliseo Sanchez, have distributed more than 1,000 plants at the weekly market as a symbol of sustainable development and environmental respect, coinciding with the celebration of World Environment Day.
Specifically, among the initiatives to be developed, highlights a waste awareness campaign under the slogan 'I want you green Green "held this afternoon at 6:30 p.m. in local sports associations.
In addition, next Wednesday, June 6 will be held at the Municipal Public Park Kids Workshop Solar Energy to include a play for children, and reforestation activities are planned in the Head with tree planting to commemorate this Environment Week.
