The City Council has delivered more than 100 trees to students in 5 of the Sacred Heart Primary School to participate in the Environment Week by planting over 100 trees in the gardens of the new school.
The initiative is part of the program of activities launched the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras to commemorate the week of the Environment.

The City Council has delivered more than 100 trees and shrubs planted by the students of 5 th grade of Sacred Heart Primary School.
So, to coincide with Environment Week, students planted trees in the gardens and patios of the new school opened.
In this regard, Councillor of Environment, Ginés David Piñero, and the Councillor for Education and Culture, Isabel García, have delivered this morning of trees and shrubs to the school principal for more than a dozen students of classes 5 primary school.
In this way, students planted trees in the courtyard and gardens of the new school that is running since last January.
Among the species to be planted, Canary Island pine stands, pine Quiñonero, or hedges.
In addition, the municipality has provided other initiatives to promote reforestation in the Jara Cabezo to promote awareness of environmental respect.
