The Mayor and Council of the Municipal Corporation took possession of his office to the legislature from 2011 to 2015.

The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras was held this afternoon the inaugural plenary session of the new Municipal Corporation of Puerto Lumbreras to the legislature 2011-2015.

The event, which have come close to a thousand lumbrerenses has been developed in the outer hall of the Cultural Center of the municipality which has taken over the Mayor, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, and council of the new Municipal Corporation.

"With this act of creation and inauguration of the new Municipal Corporation started another 4 years when work by Puerto Lumbreras, making continues to grow as it has done in recent years," explained the Mayor, Pedro Antonio Sánchez.

Thus, the Constitution Act and the inauguration of the new Municipal Corporation has begun with the establishment of the old table, comprising the most senior councilman, John Cotes Díaz (PP) and the youngest, Pedro Jesús Camacho SILVENT (IU), and after that each of the 17 councilors, of which 9 are new this term, has taken an oath or pledge to the Spanish Constitution.

Then, Pedro Antonio Sanchez has been elected Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras absolute majority and has taken office.

Thus, with the interpretation of the anthem of Puerto Lumbreras by the Banda de Música Municipal concluded the act with which the new term starts from 2011 to 2015.

In addition, throughout the act the Band Council has played three pieces: "Arioso" by Johann Sebastian Bach, "Golden Aria" by Johann Sebastian Bach, and 'Ave Verame Corpus "by Mozart.

Sanchez concluded by thanking "the confidence of all lumbrerenses" and explained that this is "a legislature full of new projects that contribute to the development of the municipality and the welfare of all citizens."

The event was attended by numerous local and regional authorities as the Minister of Public Works and Planning, José Ballesta, Rep.-elect, Thomas Violante, or Alhama Mayor of Muncie, Fernando Alfonso Ceron.
