The town of Puerto Lumbreras hosts during the first week of July Summer Camp 'Camp Español "in which 60 young people enhance their learning of English for 10 days.
The councilman of Youth, Sports and Volunteering, Jose Aragon, visited this morning the young people involved in this initiative that develops at the Youth Hostel of Cabezo la Jara and has been organized by the Municipality in cooperation with the firm Hobbies and Leisure 'El Molino'.
Among the planned activities include educational workshops such as crafts, water activities and sports facilities of the Youth Hostel and environmental workshops.
The camp includes various teaching hours turn to learn English at different levels, as well as recreational activities, watching movies in English and lectures.
On the other hand include typical camp activities such as environmental itineraries, excursions, visits and activities on the farm, visit the observatory, visit the interpretive center, festivals, theme days and other fun activities.
Councillor for Sports, Youth and Volunteering, Jose Aragon, stressed that "the Youth Hostel Jara's head has become one of the benchmarks for summer camps in our region. Learning English as a second language has become a key player in a camp involving 60 young people from various municipalities in the region. "
