The councilman of Youth, Sports and Volunteering, Jose Aragon, this morning visited the students of the Summer School this year and educational activities leisure in the municipality.
In total, more than two dozen organized activities such as workshops of artistic expression, crafts, games, sports, theater or dance as well as walks and excursions to various cultural attractions in the municipality.
The town of Puerto Lumbreras hosts throughout the month of July 2011 edition of the Summer School 'Summer School' in which more than 50 children between 5 and 12 years.
The councilman of Youth, Sports and Volunteering, Jose Aragon, visited this morning the young people involved in this initiative that develops in the premises of the former Sacred Heart Public School.
The summer school aims to offer an alternative leisure summer through actions and programs with educational content and entertainment that promote values, encourage teamwork and promote creativity and student participation.
According to the councilman of Youth and Sports, Jose Aragon, "we bet a year for this initiative which aims to strengthen the education of children during the summer months through programs and initiatives that promote leisure and coexistence."
In total we have organized more than twenty activities such as environmental education workshops, artistic expression, sports games, theater or dance as well as walks and excursions to various cultural attractions in the municipality.
Also, as a novelty this year's Summer School offers lectures for students to enhance their level of English.
The initiative has a team of five monitors leisure, two specialized monitors in children, and a coordinator to oversee and coordinate the activities of students during the month of July.
