Over 200 people accompanied the Virgin del Carmen in the procession which took place in Gonar during Sunday afternoon.
The festivities will continue during the coming weekend with a wide program of activities for all ages.

The hamlet of Gonar lumbrerense began yesterday its Festivities in honor of the Virgen del Carmen with the traditional procession attended by over 200 people marched through the streets accompanying the Virgin and singing "Hail to the Virgen del Carmen" in each house in the neighborhood.
Also, the day ended with the proclamation of the holidays by Eduardo Blesa and subsequent verbena.
Furthermore, the hamlet of Gonar Festivities continue celebrating during the weekend, with an extensive program of activities for all ages, such as fair noon, equestrian exhibition, election of homecoming queen and bridesmaids or the traditional Mass and procession in honor of the Virgen del Carmen.
