The Mayor, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, along with Councilwoman Celebration, Juana Guirao, presented this new edition of Dancing Queen with the seven ladies who paraded down the catwalk over 50 meters and will compete to be the Queen of 2011 Fiesta de Puerto Lumbreras.

The town of Puerto Lumbreras will host on Saturday 10 September from 23.00 the traditional Queen's Ball is scheduled to attend more than 2,000 people.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and the Councillor of Celebration, Juana Guirao, presented this morning at the Centro Cultural Casa de los Duendes what will be the 53 th edition of Dancing Queen.
During the presentation, which also featured Queen 2010, Ana Hellin, have been submitted to the seven ladies who will compete for the crown this year.
"El Baile de la Reina is one of the most deeply rooted traditions held since 1957 in the town of Puerto Lumbreras. This year, the gala will be close to a magic show set in the world of dreams that will offer many surprises to all attendees, "said the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez.
From 22.00 hours will begin the evening for the ladies with the official reception by the Municipal Corporation at the Centro Cultural Casa de los Duendes.
Then, starting at 23.00 hours, will begin the grand gala of Dancing Queen with the arrival of the candidates accompanied by their escorts to the municipal sports facilities.
During the ceremony, the Queen of the Festival 2010, Ana Hellin, cede the crown to one of the candidates this year hope to be elected by popular vote.
The girls, aged between 16 and 21 are Melisa Bázquez, Ana Isabel Esteban, Maria del Pilar Gallego, María Inmaculada García, Miriam Gea, Lorena Lopez and Juani Martinez.
As for the technical deployment, the Gala Ball Queen 2011 will have a runway of more than 50 meters in length and a scene of more than 170 square meters which will accommodate an extravaganza of light and color.
