The staff of the Local Police of Puerto Lumbreras was held this morning on the day of its patrons to celebrate the feast of the Holy Archangels Michael, Gabriel and San Rafael.
During the conference was held a religious ceremony in the Church commemorating Our Lady of the Rosary, which has more than 200 people attended.
At midnight, the parish church of the town has celebrated Mass in honor of the Holy Archangels in addition to attending the police force, also attended by the Mayor of the town, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, members of the government team and more than 200 citizens.
According to the mayor, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, "This memorial recognizes the dedication to service delivery and public security force coinciding with the celebration of the feast day of their employers."
Sanchez has also recalled that "in recent years has tripled Puerto Lumbreras Local Police staff and has launched new facilities and technical means to increase public safety in the municipality."
Currently, the township has a staff of 25 officers, ten of which are attached to the Public Safety Unit of the Regional Plan, which exceeds by almost triple the template that was in early 2000.
