Pedro Antonio Sanchez is part of the 'Modernization Commission, Citizen Participation and Quality' which has as main objective to disseminate and promote the modernization, citizen participation and quality in local government.
The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, has been appointed member of the Modernization Commission, Citizen Participation and Quality of the National Federation of Municipalities and Provinces which includes more than 8,000 Spanish municipalities.
Specifically, Sanchez is part of the Modernization Commission, Citizen Participation and Quality, chaired by the Mayor of Parla (Madrid), and vocals that are part of 25 Spanish municipalities.
This is the first time that a mayor of Puerto Lumbreras is part of a governing body of the National Federation of Municipalities and Provinces.
In this sense, Sanchez will work on the Modernization Commission, Citizen Participation and Quality, which will develop awareness raising, promotion, exchange and training of implementing modernizing initiatives, systems of participation and quality management in the administrations Locals.
The Commission also promotes collaboration with research centers, universities, consultants or other administrations, to develop fieldwork and experimentation in the application modernization and quality methodologies, and their subsequent dissemination to other local entities
In this sense, Sanchez expressed his satisfaction for being part of the National Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, and explained that "work with the other members of the Commission on projects to strengthen the process of modernization, quality and participation in the local level. "
