Puerto Lumbreras City Council has launched a series of seminars on the Internet and new technologies aimed at people over the hamlets lumbrerenses.
The initiative, organized jointly by the departments of Rural Development and New Technologies, aims to bring "the operation and services offered by the Internet and new technologies for the elderly residents in the districts of the town."
Thus, more than 20 people attended the first seminar 'Home to Inetrnet' has been provided in the Municipal Library-Esparragal Station.
The program includes a theoretical introduction to block Internet and new technologies, and incorporates a second block with practices in the Library's computers.
After this first seminar, interested students can enroll in a second course of "Internet environment" where they will learn to use e-mail or electronic means to carry out procedures, among others.
