More than twenty lumbrerenses already part of the new Reading Club "Meeting Point".
The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras has implemented through the Culture Department reprogramming of cultural initiatives in the Library Network of the town with "the aim of encouraging reading among young children"
Specifically, among the numerous initiatives are scheduled reading workshops, storytelling and drawing competitions for smaller stories and illustrate the stories told during educational sessions in libraries.
On the other hand, has also been organized during the months of February and March the contest 'Librarian for a Day' in which the children can learn to be a librarian for a day in the Library Network of the municipality.
