The City of Puerto Lumbreras Full Council has approved new price increases and reductions that benefit structures, works, facilities and agricultural companies to promote good practices related to job creation and utilization of water.
In this sense, the mayor of the municipality, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, explained that "These measures that the City Council intend to promote economic development through concrete actions that promote job creation and the professionalization and modernization agricultural sector. "
Thus, the Municipal Council has approved 40% reductions in the tax on buildings, installations and works for companies in the agricultural sector to hire at least three workers unemployed and registered at the Regional Employment Service and Training in the Region of Murcia.
In this regard, Sanchez explained that "what we want with this measure is benefiting businesses that are committed to hiring, compensating them with a significant reduction in taxes."
On the other hand, have also been approved by Full Council 40% bonus tax in the Construction, Installation and Works taking place in business and farm systems that incorporate efficient use of water, in order to "benefit all those businesses and farms that are committed to the modernization of irrigation systems and water use. "
Finally, Sanchez explained that "the professionalization of the agricultural sector will also be assessed in the Tax on Construction, Installation and Works (ICICI)."
To do this, the Municipal Council has approved reductions of 40% for businesses and farms that contribute to improving the professional skills of agricultural workers with specialized training programs.
