The Municipal Council has unanimously approved a motion that the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras asked the electricity distribution company Iberdrola the implementation of a customer service point in the township.
With this application, which seeks the session is "to expand the services Iberdrola customer provided on site to prevent movement of citizens to other locations to perform procedures related to the power supply in the municipality," said Councilman Works and Utilities, Eliseo Sanchez.
Thus, the Point of Customer to provide services now exist in the municipality, for the procurement of electrical supply, changes of ownership of contracts, bank payment changes, modification of contracted power, and studies and deals contract, among others.
In this sense, Councilman Works and Utilities, Eliseo Sanchez, explained that "citizens currently residing in our municipality are to be moved to the offices that the power company has implemented in other locations."
For this reason, "from the session ask the power company to consider implementing a new Customer Service Point in our locality."
