Deputy United Left (IU) Ricardo Sixto has been a series of questions to the Government to explain how planning to discuss the future of the Parador de Puerto Lumbreras.

According to Sixto, the hostel is in a state of "decline" and remains open because the damage from the earthquake last May 11 prevented the opening of the Parador de Lorca.

"Any option to keep the Parador de Puerto Lumbreras in the Paradores network investment required for adaptation, renewal and enhancement of its dependencies, or to be reconverted into a School House."

In his view, the municipality "can not afford to lose the opportunity to remain part of the Network of Paradores", so must the government decision on the future of this infrastructure.
