The town of Puerto Lumbreras hosted during the last weekend of car racing championship which was attended by more than twenty participants from different locations.
Thus, the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Sports, has collaborated in the realization of III OPEN SUN COAST organized by the Club of Automodelismo the municipality.
It also has offered to car racing fans the opportunity to enjoy this alternative sport in the circuit of the industrial city of Puerto Lumbreras.
In this sense, there were several radio controlled cars that traveled the circuit, providing a sporting event to all attending the event.
Good weather accompanied the attendees throughout the day, which was more than twenty participants from different locations in the Region of Murcia and Almeria.
In addition, for the awards ceremony was attended by the Councillor for Sports, Jose Aragon, who appreciated the efforts made by sports associations for these events go ahead.
So, Ivan Arias (Totana) came in first place, Alfonso Munoz (Pulpí) took second place, Cedric Lopez (Eagles) was in third place, John Martinez (Totana) placed fourth, and Pedro Enrique Gonzalez (Huércal-Overa ) placed fifth.
Thus, both amateur and professional model cars will have the opportunity to attend the next championship car racing - IV OPEN SUN COAST-to be held on March 18 in the Andalusian village of Pulpí.
