The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, met with the Director General of Environment, Amador Lopez Garcia, to plan new initiatives in the municipality with which the natural dynamics in the Cabezo de la Jara.

The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, met this morning with the director general of the Environment, Amador Lopez, have agreed to the collaboration session and the Regional Government for the implementation of a Plan of Commerce and Consumer Protection of the area known as Cabezo de la Jara who seeks the enhancement and protection of the natural landscape.
In this sense, the Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, explained that the aim is to promote "sustainable development of natural landscape with concrete measures to encourage turn environmental protection in the area."
Specifically, the mayor of the municipality and the Director General of the Environment have agreed to jointly promote a study of the current state of the natural environment of Cabezo de la Jara.
The Plan also will include a Program Management of Natural Resources and an environmental study for a legal declaration of conservation of protected areas of Cabezo la Jara.

During the working day, the mayor of the municipality, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, and the director general of the Environment, Amador Lopez, have been analyzed more than 150 measures in the session working through Ecopuerto Strategic Plan 2008 to 2012.
