The Ministry of Education, Training and Employment, through the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, in collaboration with the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, has launched the campaign "Growing Security" to be held all week at school Puerto Lumbreras.
This morning began the season with fun educational lectures and talks at schools in the municipality, who also attended the Councillor for Education and Social Policy, Maria Angeles Tunisia, and Council Member of Public Service, Eliseo Sanchez.
Thus, "the campaign" Growing Safety 'aims at raising awareness, promotion and dissemination of healthy habits in schools of the municipality ", as explained by the Councillor for Education and Social Policy, Maria Angeles Tunisia.
Also, for the development of conference professionals have participated in the prevention of hazards during school, who have traveled to schools in the municipality.
Thus, the objective of the campaign is to promote preventive culture among students from fifth grade, as a prevention setting value.
Thus, about 200 fifth-grade students of Schools of Puerto Lumbreras benefit from this campaign.
In this sense, the Councillor for Education and Social Policy, Maria Angeles Tunisia, explained that also aims to "raise the awareness of teachers and professional teachers in the schools."
The topics covered at the conference are related to risks that can happen to the school, such as burns, falls, electrical hazards, contact with toxic chemicals, cuts in others.
Among the activities included in this campaign, there are talks and distribution of educational materials, folders, CD's with games on prevention, and "Drawing Contest" which consists of two phases: the first city-level and second level regional.
The painting competition will be following the development of the talks and prizes for the finalists are bicycles, portable consoles, mp4 and books.
Therefore, the council has encouraged the whole school community, parents and students "learn by playing safety issues in a pleasant, fun and appropriate for the youth of the locality."
